Increasing front caster has key role in providing much needed straight line stability that 4C is lacking in OEM format, causing a lot of tramlining while driving on the road. With use of our camber / caster plates and by following recommended alignment specs we provide, the tramlining will be virtually non existing.
Track users will also benefit with increased negative front camber. We have designed aluminum camber and caster plates, that offer wide adjustment range of camber and caster on 4C OEM and GMS front control arms. Using this adapters in combination with OEM or GMS shims, you can run any spec you want. From an aggressive track/race alignment with front running -1° to -3° of camber and +5° to +6° of caster, to mild street -1° to -2° of camber and +3° to +4° of caster.
This is somewhat an essential upgrade for any 4C owner.
We strongly suggest to also add GMS 4mm adjustment shims and GMS 2mm quick adjustment shims with this order, to make sure your alignment shop will have all the required items when you are appointed for alignment.
